Dear CMA Families,
As we welcome the arrival of spring, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt wishes for a rejuvenating season ahead.
In the face of challenging weather and illness, our teachers, families, and students have persisted in keeping learning and engaged! I appreciate everyone’s hard work and commitment to our school community, and I truly appreciate your dedication to serving your student/s at the City of Medicine Academy. Thank you!
As the School Social Worker and Social-Emotional Learning School Champion at CMA, I ensure that concerns regarding your student’s health and mental well-being are addressed as well as any challenges related to school attendance.
If you or your student need support, please reach out to me at 919- 560 2001 ext. 17406, or at [email protected]. As long as your student/s is healthy, we encourage them to attend class when school is in session. Avoid scheduling non-urgent dental and medical appointments when classes are in session. However, if there are any concerns regarding health or mental well-being, please feel free to contact CMA Student Support Services for guidance.
Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn and connect with peers and their teachers. CMA hopes you had a wonderful beginning of spring!
Be Well,
Ms. Greene
