Jenny Li Next Step Adviser As a college adviser, my goal is to serve students with the college application process as well as any post-secondary plans they wish to achieve. I work primarily with 12th grade students and provide individualized support with college applications, resumes, and applying for financial aid. I hope to increase awareness of college opportunities through workshops, college representative visits, and college tours and ultimately, increase access to the college application process for all students. Jennifer James Career Development Coordinator CTE-Instructional Coordinator Magnet Coordinator I am a product of Durham Public Schools! I moved back to the area five years ago and began my journey outside of the Business classroom. My passion is Career and Technical Education and I enjoy helping our students discover options for the future. I am looking forward to growing our internships and credentials. I currently serve as the Career Development Coordinator, the Magnet Coordinator and the CTE Instructional Coordinator. |
Camille Davis Lead Counselor As the school counselor, I am committed to supporting students academically, social-emotionally, and in their college and career development. As part of the Student Services team at City of Medicine Academy, I will work closely with students, families, teachers, and community partners to help students identify their goals, navigate challenges, and develop meaningful postsecondary plans. I am passionate about advocating for students, building strong relationships, and ensuring every student has the resources and support needed to thrive during high school and beyond. |
Brittany Frost Social Worker As the school social worker, I serve as a supportive bridge between students & families, our school, and our community. My role is to help students overcome social, emotional, and behavioral challenges so they can thrive academically and personally. Whether through counseling, crisis support, or connecting families to resources, I'm here to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed. |
