Bryanna Moffitt College Adviser As a college adviser, my goal is to serve as many students as possible with the college application process as well as any post-secondary plans they wish to achieve. I work primarily with 11th and 12th grade students with events that provide college access and assistance. I provide these services individually, in group settings, and through collaborative events. |
Jennifer James Career Development Coordinator CTE-Instructional Coordinator Magnet Coordinator I am a product of Durham Public Schools! I moved back to the area five years ago and began my journey outside of the Business classroom. My passion is Career and Technical Education and I enjoy helping our students discover options for the future. I am looking forward to growing our internships and credentials. I currently serve as the Career Development Coordinator, the Magnet Coordinator and the CTE Instructional Coordinator. |
Mihaela Crencea Guidance Counselor I am originally from Romania. I came to United States 17 years ago to start working as a special education teacher. I became a school counselor in 2014, working at the high school level. At CMA, I work primarily with 11th and 12th grade students. I assist students with creating an academic plan aligned with their post-secondary plans. I will work with students in individual, small group and classroom settings. I will work with students to primarily address their academic, career and social-emotional needs. |
Karim Williams Guidance Counselor I currently work with Freshman and Sophomore students in assisting them to thrive academically, personally and socially, and assist them in exploring their options after high school, along with promoting self-advocacy of students. I provide these services by going into the classroom, individually, and in a group setting. Finally, as a School Counselor I collaborate with all stakeholders to inspire students’ academic success, career readiness, and wellness. |

Brandon Evans Social Worker As a School Social Worker I serve as a link between the school and home focusing on issues that are impacting student achievement. One of the primary responsibilities of the school social worker is to ensure that students who have excessive unexcused absences receive the support they need in order to attend to school. The other focus of the social worker role is to connect students and families with resources necessary to help students engage in successful learning. |
